Pisang Peak Climbing - Pisang peak information - Pisang peak climbing information

Pisang Peak Climbing                        Pisang peak 6090m is one of the most famous trekking peak in Annapurna region. Pisang peak lies roughly in between the giants’ Annapurna I 8091m and Manaslu 8163m.Pisang Peak rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid. Pisang peak is considered as the easy climbing peak in Nepal. A German Expedition made the first ascent on Pisang in 1955 .The route through the upper Pisang valley leads through sparse woods and pastures to a Kharka, which provide a good Base-camp site. The high trail here, which reaches upper Pisang (3300m) though longer, is panoramic. Pisang peak high Camp is set up at 5,400 meters (17,715ft) climbing to a shoulder on the South-West Ridge. It offers truly splendid views of the Annapurna group including Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and IV, Ghangapurna and the Glacier Dome.

After summit the Pisang peak descend to the Mangang valley then strenuous trekking is well rewarded at both low and high altitudes, on the approach to the Thorung La 5416m as well as during the descent from it. Close up views of the Annapurna range (40 miles between the two river valleys contain at twelve 7000 m peaks and many more above the 6000m mark). Varied ecosystems, diverse cultures and an ever-changing landscape - lush, green paddy fields and oak forests, arid deserts and the deepest gorge in the world make this one of the most popular treks in the world. We Himalaya Journey Treks and Expedition will arrange the Pisang peak climbing and round Annapurna Ghorepani poon hill trekking according to adventure seekers /mountaineers holiday schedule and wish.
